Fifth dance fairy tale for kids.
After the unique success of our dance fairy tale Hug the Tree!, with which we are still helping the Heroes of the 3rd Floor association, we continue our dancing journey with the story of our little friends - small animals with whom we share this planet Earth.
Fear is the body's innate response to impending danger. Animals are afraid of thunder, and bursting firecrackers cause great fear and stress. Due to the shock of the bang, animals can become seriously ill or run away into the unknown. With our fairy tale, we want to draw attention to the suffering of animals due to human use of pyrotechnics and thus spread awareness of coexistence between humans and animals.
The story:
A puppy and a kitten live the contented life of urban domestic animals. One day they are woken up by loud popping and whistling. They get very scared and run into the forest, where they meet a long-eared bunny and a ladybug who help them survive in an unknown forest and restore their trust in people.
Duration: approx. 30 minutes
Part of the proceeds from the sold tickets are allocated to the Shelter for Abandoned Animals for the purchase of food and equipment.

PERFORMANCES

The premiere performance of the dancing fairy tale Think about us! in the Postojna Cultural Center has impressed both the young and the elderly with its sincerity and strong message. The cute animal characters of puppies, kittens, ladybugs and rabbits staged a story with a powerful message, which does not stay only on the stage, through various rhythms and dance acts. Katja Dance Company adds a humanitarian note to its passion for dance and performances, and demonstrates the message of its creation through concrete actions. Thus, with funds from the performance, they were able to purchase food for small abandoned animals and donate it to the Ljubljana Shelter.
It is a great pleasure to host such a team that exudes a sincere commitment to its mission. From the preparations before the performance, to the performance and collecting impressions after it, all the members of the Katja Dance Company are enthusiastic about creating, performing, telling stories through dance and passing on their love to the visitors.
