Our story
Photographer Albert Podrekar and Make Up Artist (MUA) Larisa Urankar began working together in March 2022 in the form that we now offer to you. During this long learning period together, we have developed a work process that suits us and allows us, together with the model, the freedom to create and design in the field of portrait beauty and art photography. New moments, patterns and shapes are always created during the work, which result in an ever-new experience. You could say that it is a kind of "game" or laboratory of experiments with current inspiration, which of course is based on past experiences and what we have learned, what works and what doesn't.
We found a "home" for our work in the dance studio Katja Dance Company, which offers everything we need for our creation. The dance studio has a large hall that allows freedom to design light and atmosphere, as well as a dressing room / makeup room in which Larisa creates her masterpiece.

I arrived at the set, where Albert and Larisa greeted me with a smile. We relaxedly went over the idea of taking photos again and then into the mask. Larisa had 3 looks ready and each one was a new surprise. She perfectly emphasized all the features and gave my eyes more shine. We chatted about the products of her journey, etc. Then the shooting.
Albert is a true professional who admires his models and always makes us feel great. I really felt at home and it was a lot of fun and it went by too quickly. He imagined 3 looks and all the pictures of the 3 looks had something of their own.
I live in Germany and if I could, I would take photos with this team every time I come to my homeland.

What is included:
Approx. 3 hours of portrait photography in our studio
2 make-ups, natural and extreme
Unlimited number of photos in jpg format in full resolution – all photos selected by the photographer, which technically and artistically meet the desired criteria
Fruit and bottled water
How it works:
After booking and paying for the photo shoot, the photographer and model agree on a basic wardrobe and the model's potential wishes.
The model arrives at the appointment with her hair done (minor adjustments are possible on the spot) and without makeup and with her face cleansed so that our Make Up Artist Larisa can prepare the appropriate makeup.
She brings a few pieces of clothing (up to 5 pieces) and/or objects, which we then look at together on the spot and determine the look for the first and second round of photo shoots.
The look arrangement depends on the complexity –
the first "natural beauty look" lasts approx. 30 minutes, followed by photo shoots in a standing and sitting position;
the second "extreme look" lasts approx. 45 minutes, followed by photo shoots in a standing and sitting position;
The photographer and assistant will help you with advice and guide you throughout the photo shoot process. We will do everything to relax you and make your time with us a new or different experience
This will be followed by a joint viewing of the resulting work and an exchange of opinions
We will send you the produced photos electronically within 14 days of the photo shoot date (depending on the busyness of post-production)
If you wish and as an additional service, we can of course also arrange for you to print your photos in a variety of options or create a photo book

Business portrait photography
You in your professional environment

Of course, we can also organize photo shoots at your business premises or at a location of your choice. Depending on the distance and complexity of the lighting and background setup, we will make an offer for you.
If desired and as an additional service, we can also arrange photo printing in a variety of options or the creation of a photo book

THE TEAM
On September 10, 2021, Albert and Boštjan exhibited their works together at the premises of the Katja Dance Company, which were created within the framework of the 5-year KDC dance performance of the performances Life is a Value and Project X.
Together, they also recorded the dance film Life is a value - The movie!, which was filmed at the Grand Hotel Union Ljubljana during the COVID-19 period, when the dancers could not perform.
ALBERT PODREKAR
Born in Augsburg, Germany.
Due to his involvement in the world of dance, he gets opportunities to see and document the artistic world around him with a camera. He is particularly drawn to the deep emotions and detachment into which the dancers fall. Enthusiastic dance photographer who develops his work mainly in the field of portrait photography, but also flirts with boudoir, with geometric characters and architecture and plays with contrasting color experiments of the pop-art genre.
BOŠTJAN BANFI
F1 FZS, EFIAP, PPSA
Born in Murska Sobota. He picked up a camera as early as elementary school, although he made his first serious contact with photography after 1994, when he bought his first camera in New York. He became a member of Fotoklub Ljubljana in 2015. His passion is black and white photography, primarily street photography, portraits, also abstractions, concerts years ago, and lately he is also trying nude photography.
