The dance performance DECIDE artistically opens the viewer’s eyes to fellow human beings, to solidarity, and to our interconnectedness. It reminds us how deeply we depend on one another and how mysteriously our lives are connected.

It is profoundly moving to realise that someone is willing to give life to another person, and this attitude speaks to us at the deepest level, because the artistic expression of the performance has the power to reach the heart and touch us profoundly.

The production does not merely raise the question of organ donation. It encourages reflection on the meaning of life, mortality, selflessness, and giving to others. It opens our eyes to the people around us, which is especially valuable in an age marked by individualism and self-sufficiency.

Its powerful message, which is almost a call to make a decision in favour of organ donation, gains a unique gentleness through its beautiful music and outstanding dance. As a result, the performance concludes in a way that leaves each individual free to choose, while encouraging us to make a choice FOR LIFE.

I congratulate Katja Vidmar and all the creators of this production, and I sincerely hope that the performance reaches a wide audience and touches many hearts, bringing more humanity into our society.
