It’s Time for a Mouse Party! Murska Sobota, Grosuplje, and Brussels – Here We Come!

This Sunday, our Mouse School dance team is heading to the far east of Slovenia for a very special debut in Prekmurje. More precisely, we’ll be performing at Theater Park in Murska Sobota—a venue that holds many cherished memories for us. One that stands out is the 2022 premiere of Why Me, when a sold-out cultural center helped carry our story across Slovenia and even beyond its borders.

We’re preparing for two morning performances, and we’ll arrive the evening before to set everything up—ensuring that Mouse School whisks the children of Murska Sobota into a magical world of imagination.

This time, our dance team includes Katja Vidmar, Iva Šantek, Hana Štraus, Špela Dolinar, and Peter Capuder, with Albert Podrekar once again handling technical direction and production. We’re especially thrilled to welcome back the incredible Špela, whose talent and spirit are simply made for roles like these.

And now, we’re excited to share some big news: Mouse School is heading to Belgium! We’ll perform twice—first on Thursday, December 4th at the Slovenian Pastoral Center in Brussels, in collaboration with the Slovenian Association in Belgium, for Slovenian children whose families live and work in the city. The second performance, on Friday, December 5th, will be a milestone: our first-ever show in Croatian, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Belgium.

To prepare, we’ll visit Art Music Records this Sunday to record the Croatian narration with sound engineer Roman Sarjaš. Our dancer Iva Šantek, a proud Rijeka native, will lend her voice to the narrator for this special evening.

This Belgian tour promises to be something truly extraordinary, and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead!

Before we head abroad, we’ll also visit Grosuplje on November 13th, with two performances at the Cultural Center Grosuplje—the first at 17:00 and the second at 18:00.

Everything described above marks just the beginning of our enchanting journey. After the magical performances in Murska Sobota, Grosuplje, and Brussels, Mouse School will continue to delight audiences across Slovenia with a series of performances in the months ahead:
